Harayana Labour welfare fund deposit date extended to 31st March 2020

As per the notification as appearing below the due date of the LWF  Harayana has been extended to 31st Mar 2020. No interest will be charged for the respective late payment.

As per Punjab Labour Welfare Fund Rules, 1966  the dues date is 31st Dec 2019.

Enhancement Of Wage Ceiling Limit Under The Employees’ Compensation Act, 1923

The Government of India vide notification no S.O. 71(E) has enhanced the wage ceiling under the Employees Compensation Act, from rupees eight thousand to rupees fifteen thousand per month with effect from 3rd January, 2020. Therefore, employers are advised to take note that the amount of compensation to be paid to the employee under the Act shall be calculated on the increased wage ceiling of rupees fifteen thousand
