Introduction Of Third-Party Certification Scheme Under Various Labour Laws In Rajasthan

The Government of Rajasthan vide circular no.E.O.D.B/IR/Labour/Part-2/6280 has introduced a third-party certification scheme to simplify the business regulations under the ease of doing business reform.

The third-party certification scheme is to be implemented under various labour laws such as, 

(1) The Beedi And Cigar Workers (Condition of Employment) Act, 1966,

(2) The Rajasthan Contract Labour (Regulation And Abolition)Rule,1971

(3) The Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1979

(4) The Maternity Benefits Act, 1961

(5) The Minimum Wages Act, 1948

(6) The Employee Compensation Act, 1923

(7) The Motor Transport Workers Act, 1961

(8) The Payment of Wages Act, 1936

(9) The Child Labour (Prohibition And Regulation) Act, 1986

(10) The Rajasthan Shops And Commercial Establishments Acts,1958

(11) The Industrial Employment (Standing Order) Act, 1946

(12) The Building And Other Construction Worker's Welfare Cess Act, 1996

(13) The Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972

(14) The Sales Promotion Employee(Condition Of Service)Act, 1976

(15) The Payment of Bonus Act, 1965

(16) The Industrial Disputes Act 1947

(17) The Working Journalist and Other Newspaper Employees Act, 1955.

Therefore, employers of any industrial establishments may adopt this third-party certification scheme.

The Government may reject the Third-Party certification at any time on receiving any written complaint.
