Government of Karnataka, Karnataka Labour Welfare Board vide press note has introduced educational assistance for the students who have passed in the previous examination with fifty percent for General category and forty-five for SC/ST category students and who are studying in the academic year 2021-2022 in the High School, (8th to 10th Standards) and PUC, ITI, D.ED, Diploma, Degree, post graduate, engineering and medical courses are eligible.
The parents or guardian's monthly income should not exceed rupees twenty one thousand per month and those who are paying contribution to the Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund are eligible to apply through online.
Therefore, eligible students can apply on and before 31st August 2021 through online from Labour Welfare Board Websites, https://klwbapps.karnataka.gov.in. Note: The gazette notification towards the press note in awaiting stage.
